Your Safety

The safety of our customers and staff is of paramount importance to us, so please be assured that we have a range of measures in place, to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. Full store risk assessment report.

In Our Stores

Within our stores, we have:

  • Hand sanitiser
  • Liquid soap for hand washing
  • Social distancing posters to remind everyone about keeping a safe distance apart
  • Floor stickers
  • Perspex screens at payment desks
  • Fabric sanitiser to spray on fabric and samples as needed
  • Facemasks and disposable gloves for staff to use as needed
  • Regular, thorough cleaning

Private Appointments

If anyone is worried about visiting the stores whilst other people may be there, we are happy to arrange a private appointment, either before or after store hours. Please ring us on 01634 387 234 or send an email to customerservices@lukehurst.co.uk.

Other Measures

However, we realise that it is not just within store that new health and safety measures are important. For both our customers and staff, it is also vital that we have suitable procedures and supplies in place in our warehouse and for deliveries.

Within the warehouse, we have:

  • Hand sanitiser
  • Liquid soap for hand washing
  • Social distancing posters
  • Face masks

For deliveries, we will:

  • Contact the customer prior to delivery to make sure they are happy to receive the delivery, keeping the required social distance, and to check that they do not have any of the key Covid-19 symptoms
  • Provide all delivery team members with hand sanitiser, as well as facemasks and disposable gloves to use as required
  • Provide sanitiser bombs for use if necessary
