The Cotton Origins 8 mattress is a no-turn mattress which provides comfort and support for the body, with generous layers of sustainably sourced cotton and wool, that is 100% British and traceable to Red Tractor assured farms.

Cotton is grown in various locations around the globe but only 12% of the world’s cotton is certified as sustainable. It’s a soft, breathable fibre, which helps to keep heat away from the body and Hypnos has sourced both sustainable cotton fillings, but also cotton yarn for weaving into the damask that covers the mattress.

Red Tractor is the UK’s biggest food and farming scheme, making sure farms adhere to rigorous standards that cover the full farm supply chain, including animal welfare, traceability and environmental protection. Wool can naturally regulate body temperature and moisture, helping to keep you cool in the summer and cosy in the winter, but it’s also naturally antibacterial, making it an ideal fibre for a mattress. Each 150cm mattress contains 3 fleeces of pure wool, providing fantastic luxury.

The mattress features Hypnos’ expertly engineered ReActivePro™ pocket springs, which provide total body comfort, and Triple Edge Protection™ (higher tension edge springs, framed support and two rows of genuine hand side stitching) to give true edge-to-edge support.

The breathable sleep surface is woven from sustainably sourced unbleached cotton and viscose which safely and naturally meets all furniture and safety fire regulations without the need for synthetic flame-retardants.

The mattress is available in one tension but in a range of sizes, including zip and link for king and extra kingsize. Zip and link makes it easier for turning and moving the mattresses but also offers the option of having the two parts of the mattress in different tensions to suit each sleeper if required – please phone or pop into store to order if you want different tensions for the zip and link mattresses.

Pair the mattress with a traditional deep or more contemporary shallow divan base, or chose a storage option to suit you – standard drawers, a SuperStorage™ or Hideaway™ divan base.
