Welcome to Lukehurst Furniture

Gerald Lukehurst opened his first furniture store in Rainham back in 1970. This independent furniture business has expanded but stayed within the family. Lukehurst is now run by Gerald’s son Martin and granddaughter, Kathryn. We are proud that people trust and respect the Lukehurst name.

Over the years, we have always focused on customer service. We form long-lasting relationships with our customers, so much so that three quarters of our business comes from repeat customers.

When you come to any of our showrooms you can be sure to find high quality goods at affordable prices. In our furniture shops in Kent, you can find everything you need to furnish your home.

Whether your style is classic or contemporary, we can help you to find the perfect item. The furniture we offer includes:
• Sofas
• Beds
• Dining tables and chairs
• Bedroom furniture
• Occasional furniture
• Living room furniture

Our showrooms display only a fraction of the items available to buy. We feature well-known brands such as Ercol, G-Plan and Parker Knoll but we can order anything from a huge range of suppliers dotted across the UK and Europe. So even if you’re looking for a designer sofa from an obscure Italian designer, we can help.

We are also your soft furnishing experts in Kent. Our separate showroom for curtains and blinds boasts dedicated staff who can help you create your curtains, blinds and soft furnishings from scratch in our in-house workshop. Our design team are on hand to help you style your home. You can also find a range of carpets and floorings to suit your requirements and decor.
