Lukehurst to attend Kent Show 2016

From the 8th till the 10th July, Lukehurst is proudly attending the Kent Show 2016. The show has a long-standing history in the Kent community and is a fantastic event, with over 400 exhibitors and trade stands expected for visitors to explore.

Lukehurst has an impressive history with the event dating back over 30 years. From the moment that Gerald Lukehurst opened the first store in Rainham in 1970, we have held a strong sense of pride in the local community - and the Kent Show is the perfect place to be among some of the best and brightest that Kent has to offer.

Lukehurst is proud of being a family-run business since it’s beginnings. Despite our continued growth over the years, and the opening of another new store in Sittingbourne last year, It is important to us that we remember our humble beginnings and give all our customers a special kind of hospitality that you just can't find with larger businesses.

This year we will be showing off some of the beautiful leather furniture crafted by Stressless and Himolla at the Kent Show. Stressless have been manufacturing high quality chairs and sofas since 1934, and visitors at the Kent Show will be in the perfect place to try them out for themselves. Himolla meanwhile are a German manufacturing company who craft a range of award-winning recliners and sofas, which offer almost unbeatable comfort and modern design.

With trade stands from every kind of industry and events ranging from livestock competitions to modern machinery displays, we will be in fantastic company - and there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. You can still buy your tickets online or on the gate, but pre-show tickets receive a discounted rate.

If you come along to the show make sure you come and say hello. We will be adjacent to the main Astor ring at the showground. We love meeting new people and are incredibly proud of the furniture we sell. We are also thankful to the organisers of the event, who have done a fantastic job over the many years the show has been running - and this year’s event looks set to be bigger than ever.

Here's to the next 30 years!
