New Flooring for Teynham Scout Hut
Lukehurst have close ties with Sittingbourne and the surrounding area. Gerald Lukehurst, the founder of the company, and his family were from Teynham, and his granddaughter Kathryn, who now runs the business, lives in the area.
We were therefore delighted to help out 1st Teynham Scouts by supplying and fitting new flooring free-of-charge, in the new washrooms at their scout hut. Our fitters, Richard & Nigel, levelled the floor then laid practical vinyl which is easy to clean and hard wearing. The flooring is finished and the washrooms are now ready for the cubicles to go in and finally skirting boards to finish them off.
We hope the beavers, cubs and scouts enjoy their new washrooms for many years!
