Delivery Information

Lukehurst operate a quality in-house 2 man home delivery service using our own vans and teams for deliveries within a 100 mile radius. Our staff are highly experienced and trained to deliver quality furniture, to help ensure your order arrives in excellent condition. For deliveries further afield, we use reputable professional 3rd party specialist furniture delivery and courier services with experience delivering furniture. Our deliveries are operated from our warehouse facility in Sittingbourne, Kent.

  • UK delivery over 100 miles from our warehouse but excluding Scotland, remote postcodes and islands:

                Free for orders over £3,000

                £39 for orders of £1,001 to £2999

                £49 for orders up to £1,000

  • Scotland, excluding remote postcodes

                Free for orders over £3,500

                £49 for orders of £1,001 to £3,499

                £79 for orders up to £1,000

  • Remote postcodes, islands, including channel islands



Curtains, blinds, carpets and flooring

We usually fit these items, so delivery is usually included in the cost. If you do not want the fitting, please ask us about delivery.

Collect In Store:

We offer a "collect in store" option which is free of charge for all orders. If purchasing in store or by phone, please let us know if you would like to collect in store when you place your order and which store you would like to collect from. We will arrange a convenient date and time with you. For non-stock items, we will contact you once your order is in our warehouse.  If purchasing online, select the ‘Collect in store’ option, then we will contact you to arrange which store is best for you to collect from, and to arrange the collection.

Please note you will have to provide proof of identity upon collecting your order, so bring a copy of your order and proof of identity with you.

Delivery Times for Items Delivered from Lukehurst

If items are in stock, we aim to deliver to you within 10 working days of you placing your order and payment clearing. If you order in store or by phone, we will arrange delivery when you place the order. If you order online, we will contact you to advise of the delivery schedule.

For non-stock items, delivery will depend upon the product supplier - please see individual product pages for approximate delivery time frames, which show the estimated delivery for the product to be delivered to us. We deliver all your order at once, even if it is from different suppliers, so please allow the longest delivery time shown for the individual products. Once all parts of your order have been received, we will contact you to request the balance payment, if there is any outstanding. Upon receipt and clearance of full payment, we will contact you to advise of the delivery schedule. If delivery dates should unfortunately then have to change, our delivery crews will notify you accordingly. We aim to arrange for the goods to be delivered within 3 to 7 working days after receipt of all your items. 

Please note, any dates for delivery of the goods are approximate only and Lukehurst shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the goods howsoever caused. Lukehursts will have a conversation with the customer as to options if the furniture will not go in but we hold no accountability and refunds will not given.

Holding Orders

If you are not ready to receive an order when we contact you to arrange delivery, we are happy to hold it in our warehouse until you are ready, providing full payment has been made.


Any outstanding balance must be settled with Lukehurst before delivery takes place.

A morning or afternoon slot will be allocated for your delivery. We cannot guarantee a specific time but will do our best to accommodate any requirements you may have.

Furniture will be delivered and unpacked. All packaging will be removed.

Lukehurst will assemble sofas, chairs and dining room furniture. For bedroom furniture, wardrobes and bedframes assembly is available but there is a charge for this service. This should be requested at the time of ordering. It will then be shown on your order and delivery note, so the delivery team know that it needs to be assembled.

Customers will need to ensure that access for delivery of their furniture is clear. Advising Lukehurst about any unusual situations, such as difficult traffic restrictions or internal lifts or stairs, is always helpful and will enable us to foresee and overcome any delivery problems. Customers will need to arrange for any electrical work or fixing to walls that may be required. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the furniture will access the property.

Removal of Old Furniture

Lukehurst will remove old furniture and beds at a small charge, please feel free to discuss your requirements with our customer service team on 01634 387 234.

Direct Supplier Deliveries

We have some bedroom furniture and cabinet ranges that can be delivered to your home for installation straight from the factory. If this is the case, we will update you on timeframes. Any outstanding balance must be paid to Lukehurst before the delivery takes place. We will contact you when any outstanding payment is due, and once this has been paid, the supplier will liaise with you regarding the delivery.
