Exclusive Christmas Shopping Evening

We are holding an exclusive Christmas Shopping Evening at our Sittingbourne store
on Thursday 24th October, from 5 to 8pm, please join us. 

In collaboration with four other Kent businesses, Simpsons Wines, Cooks, Gallery Direct and Elvis & Kresse, we’ve planned the event to offer a fun, informal evening where you can start to get ready for Christmas, helping you avoid the rush and chaos of the shops nearer the time. There will be the opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping in a relaxed atmosphere, whilst learning more about the businesses involved.

Complimentary food and wine tasting will be provided, as well as the chance to buy some stylish and unusual Christmas gifts. We will also be holding a raffle to raise funds for local charity Molly Wisdom Hospice, who we are proud to support. There will be no pressure to take part, but any funds received by the hospice will be greatly appreciated and Lukehurst will match all money raised on the night.

A little bit about the businesses involved:

Simpsons

Simpsons Wine will be offering free tastings of their fine wines, along with a chance to buy bottles, ideal to give as gifts or to serve with your meals this Christmas to make them even more special! And you can learn why Kent is the perfect place for producing quality wines - Henry Rymill, Sales & Marketing Manager at Simpsons, will be giving a short informative talk at 6pm, as well as being on hand to chat informally.

Cook

To complement the wine, Cook of Sittingbourne are providing complimentary canapes on the night. And why not take the chance to order some of their delicious food to make your catering easy this year and help take the stress out of Christmas. They offer a fantastic range of products for entertaining, including gluten and dairy free products.

Gallery Direct

Gallery Direct, another Sittingbourne based company, will be displaying a wonderful selection of their home accessories, which would make lovely Christmas presents (or you could treat yourself!). Their wide range includes both practical and decorative items, from cosy throws to stylish candle holders and from sumptuous cushions to fun doorstops.

Elvis & Kresse

Elvis & Kresse use more than 10 different recycled materials, including decommissioned fire hoses and leather off-cuts from Burberry, to create stunning lifestyle accessories using highly skilled,
traditional craftsmanship. There will be a selection of these luxury accessories available to buy, which would be perfect for treating someone to a special gift for Christmas.

Charity Raffle

Lukehurst are delighted to have chosen Molly Wisdom Hospice as our partner charity for the next 12 months. With the help of you our much valued customers we hope to raise as much money as possible for this local charity which will be very close to the hearts of many local residents - a charity that is often overlooked in preference for more national organisations.

We are kicking off our fund raising with a charity raffle taking place during the evening for your chance to win a fantastic Recliner Chair.

Molly Wisdom Hospice
